Job summary

Aristocrat is hiring a Senior Database Administrator in the UK to own and evolve high-performance MySQL platforms supporting production game workloads. You will shape architecture, performance, and automation while collaborating with Architecture, Engineering, and SRE teams to ensure scalable and secure data services.

You will drive reliability, capacity planning, and governance, partnering across disciplines to deliver resilient database designs and best practices for the product ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Significant production experience with MySQL in critical environments.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and MongoDB alike is a plus.
• Strong Linux admin skills and performance tuning expertise.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end lifecycle of MySQL platforms for high-traffic workloads.
• Improve automation for provisioning, backups, replication, and DR.
