Job summary

The Chiltern Hospital in Great Missenden and The Shelburne Hospital in High Wycombe are seeking a Senior Physiotherapist to lead MSK outpatient services across both sites. The role is full-time, 37.5 hours, with a flexible shift pattern and travel between sites.

You will supervise Band 5/Level 1 staff, develop pathways, maintain standards, and contribute to service improvement, with benefits including holiday allowance and private healthcare.

Qualifications

• HCPC-registered Physiotherapist required.
• 4+ years post-qualification MSK outpatient experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, mentoring and organisational skills.
• Experience with audit, service development or quality improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead assessment, treatment and management of complex MSK outpatients.
• Develop and adjust treatment plans aligned with patient goals and evidence-based practice.
• Provide supervision and training to junior staff and students.
• Contribute to clinical pathways, protocols and outcome measures.
• Ensure care aligns with HCPC, CSP and CQC standards.
• Build therapeutic relationships to promote engagement and self-management.
