An exciting opportunity has arisen for three enthusiastic and motivated band 6 musculoskeletal (MSK) physiotherapists to join our Richmond MSK service.
A successful candidate will need to be self-motivated, forward-thinking, and committed to this area of specialism, with the experience and skills outlined in the personal specification.
The MSK service is comprised of a large team of physiotherapists, including an MSK interface service and women's health service. The service offers physiotherapy through face-to-face sessions, virtual consultations, classes including hydrotherapy and shockwave therapy.
Candidates must be members of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists, registered with the Health and Care Professions Council, and hold a degree in physiotherapy.
Your role will involve providing high-quality physiotherapy within our MSK services, working under the guidance of senior physiotherapists. This includes work in main departments and as a lone worker in satellite clinics.
You will assess, diagnose, and manage patients with both chronic and acute musculoskeletal problems, delivering programmes of supported patient self-management that facilitate behavioral change, optimize physical activity, mobility, personal goal fulfillment, and independence, while minimizing pharmacological interventions.
You will also provide leadership and support to junior colleagues, engage in service improvement projects, and contribute to the ongoing development of our services.

To support your wellbeing, we offer resources such as an on-site staff nursery at Kingston Hospital, wellbeing practitioners, regular wellbeing classes, a dedicated staff physiotherapist, comprehensive occupational health services, a 24/7 employee assistance programme, and other support activities.
We also recognize and celebrate our teams’ efforts through weekly ‘shoutouts’, patient feedback, and monthly and annual awards.
