Job summary

Entrust Resource Solutions is assisting an established pharmaceutical manufacturing organisation in Dundee to recruit an experienced Senior Scientist/Engineer for its Manufacturing Science & Technology (MSAT) team. You will supervise technical transfer and scale-up from development to GMP manufacturing, coordinating with QA, Production and customers throughout the lifecycle of a portfolio of products.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent practical experience in Pharmaceutical Science, Chemistry or related discipline.
• Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or other regulated environments.
• Hands-on experience with technical transfer, scale-up and industrialisation.
• Strong understanding of processes, equipment and manufacturing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Be the technical owner of processes entering and running GMP manufacturing.
• Lead transfer and scale-up of new products into GMP manufacturing.
• Develop manufacturing plans based on customer and technical requirements.
• Assess process capability and identify technical gaps.
• Provide hands-on production support and troubleshoot issues.
• Lead deviations, investigations, CAPAs, change controls, and risk assessments.
• Own GMP protocols, reports, manufacturing instructions and documentation.
• Drive improvements in process robustness and transfer efficiency.
