Job summary

The Cromwell Hospital in London is seeking a Senior 1 MRI Radiographer in Diagnostics to join our imaging team. You will operate MRI equipment, contribute to patient care, and ensure high diagnostic standards in a private hospital environment.

The role requires substantial MRI experience, a BSc or DCR in Radiography, and proficiency with Philips and/or Siemens MRI systems. You will be based at Cromwell Hospital with occasional work at the Basinghall Clinic.

Qualifications

• BSc or DCR in Radiography is essential.
• Substantial MRI experience is required.
• Competence with Philips and/or Siemens MRI systems.
• Contrast MRI experience is essential.
• Cannulation ability; work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Deputise for the Superintendent Radiographer as appropriate.
• Work flexible hours to accommodate MRI workload.
• Be based at Cromwell Hospital; may work at Basinghall Clinic as needed.
• Develop and maintain staff rotas for the scanner.
• Supervise staff and training on the scanner to ensure service quality.
• Perform high-quality examinations as requested by referrals.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and report incidents.
• Follow radiation protection rules and MHRA guidelines.
