Job summary

The Cromwell Hospital is seeking an HCPC-registered Senior Radiographer with extensive Mammography, CT and General X-ray experience. You will deliver high-quality imaging services across private hospital settings, supervise staff, and support cross-site coverage at Canary Wharf and DASCAL locations.

The role requires substantial post-qualification CT/Mammography experience, and a commitment to patient safety, training, and service excellence. Bank shifts with variable hours in London.

Qualifications

• State registration with HCPC (essential).
• BSc or DCR in Radiography (essential).
• Post Grad Cert in Mammography (essential).
• Substantial CT and Mammography experience including Breast Biopsy, pneumocolons scanning and cardiac scanning (essential).
• Experience with Siemens CT and Siemens X-ray machines (desirable).
• Knowledge of IRMER guidelines (essential).

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality Breast Screening CT and X-ray examinations in line with departmental protocols.
• Manage daily operations and organise work schedules for efficiency.
• Supervise and train junior staff and new starters.
• Participate in on-call and weekend shifts as per the roster.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, IR(ME)R regulations, and hospital policies.
• Undertake clinical audits and equipment quality assurance.
