Job summary

Focus Resourcing Limited is seeking a Lead MRI Field Service Engineer. This home-based, nationwide role involves installation, maintenance and fault finding of MRI/diagnostic imaging equipment across the UK, with you acting as the technical escalation point.

You will mentor engineers and trainees, support training programs, and contribute technically to bids and capability development. A strong MRI background and travel flexibility are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years' experience in a Diagnostic Imaging Field Service role.
• Strong hands-on experience servicing, maintaining and troubleshooting diagnostic imaging equipment.
• MRI technical expertise and fault-finding capability.
• Experience mentoring or guiding other engineers.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out installation, preventative maintenance, repairs and upgrades on MRI/diagnostic imaging equipment.
• Troubleshooting complex technical faults and acting as a first point of escalation.
• Mentoring and providing technical support to Field Service Engineers and Trainees.
• Supporting technical training and knowledge sharing across the engineering team.
• Providing technical input into bids, tenders and capability development.
• Supporting multiple OEM platforms and cross-training when required.
