Bbe Recruitment is seeking a motivated Project Engineer – Mould / Tooling to coordinate tooling projects from enquiry to production release. You will work with customers and internal teams across Engineering, Quality, Production and Tooling to ensure milestones are achieved and documentation is maintained.

The role focuses on moulding projects, validation protocols and timely project delivery, requiring strong organisational and communication skills and an ability to manage multiple activities

Qualifications

• Experience in project engineering and project coordination within a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of moulding processes or injection moulding is advantageous.

Responsabilités

We are seeking a motivated and organised Project Engineer – Mould / Tooling to support and coordinate tooling projects from initial customer enquiry through validation and qualification to final production release.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded professional with experience in moulding manufacturing, tooling or project engineering to play a key role in delivering projects on time, to specification and in line with customer expectations.

Working closely with customers and internal teams across Engineering, Quality, Production and Tooling, you will coordinate project activities, maintain technical documentation, support validation processes and ensure all project milestones are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate new tooling projects from initial enquiry through to validation and production release.
• Develop, prepare and maintain project plans, timelines and technical documentation.
• Support the preparation and execution of validation protocols, product qualification and approval activities.
• Monitor project progress against agreed customer requirements, deadlines and quality standards.
• Act as a key point of contact for customers, providing regular project updates and coordinating technical discussions.
• Work collaboratively with Engineering, Quality, Production and Tooling teams to resolve technical issues and maintain project momentum.
• Ensure project documentation and records are accurate, controlled and maintained in accordance with relevant quality procedures.
• Identify potential project risks, communicate issues effectively and support the implementation of corrective actions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across project delivery, validation and documentation processes.

Key Skills and Experience

• Experience in project engineering, project coordination or a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of moulding processes, mould tooling or injection moulding would be advantageous.
• Understanding of product validation, qualification and associated documentation.
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple activities and competing priorities.
• Excellent communication and customer relationship management skills.
• Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, quality and production teams.
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to technical documentation and document control.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to monitor progress against project deadlines.
• Proficiency in preparing reports, maintaining records and communicating project status.
