Job summary
Alpine Racing Limited is seeking a Senior Controls Development Engineer based at Enstone to lead the deployment, operation, and continuous improvement of the car’s control systems. You will own end-to-end lifecycle of control functionality from concept through simulation, validation and deployment.
Applicants should excel in control algorithms, ECU software development, data analysis, and scripting (MATLAB/Python).
Qualifications
- Experience in control systems for vehicle platforms.
- Proficiency in ECU software development and calibration.
- Strong data analysis and scripting skills.
- Familiarity with SIL/MIL/HIL validation methods.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and validate control algorithms for critical vehicle systems.
- Develop ECU software, calibration tools, and architectures to support performance, reliability, and drivability.
- Own end-to-end lifecycle from concept to deployment for control system functionality.
- Collaborate with vehicle performance, systems, and electronics groups for seamless integration.
- Develop and maintain simulation models and validation frameworks (SIL/MIL/HIL).
- Analyse data from tests and races to refine control strategies and identify opportunities.
