Job summary

TGR Haas F1 Team is seeking an Electronics Engineer to join our Banbury-based team in the UK. You will design and integrate on- and off-car harnesses, sensors and electronics to support instrumentation and performance, reporting to the Head of Electronics.

Based in Banbury, you will work with partners and colleagues to ensure high standards of service, compliance and continuous improvement. Essential qualifications include a degree in Electronics and multi-year experience in state-of-the-art

Qualifications

• Essential: University degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
• Multi-year experience in state-of-the-art electronics in a high-level tech environment; motorsport experience preferred (F1/WEC).
• Proven track record with analogue/digital circuit production and fault rectification.
• Knowledge of sensor technologies and support electronics.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of on- and off-car harnesses, units, sensors and assemblies to meet performance and regulatory requirements.
• Lead FIA, FOM and supplier component installation design in line with requirements and regulations.
• Drive specification and design of electronics systems for instrumentation and measurements.
• Create installation manuals and docs to aid trackside installation of electronics components.
• Investigate faults with Reliability Engineer and trackside team; develop mitigation solutions.
• Support pre-season car build, test and rig events for electronics installations.
• Contribute to vehicle performance and reliability projects guiding Electrical/Mech design offices.
