Job summary

TGR Haas F1 Team in Banbury, UK is seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer to design and develop on- and off-car electronics systems for the chassis and trackside installations. You will generate installation manuals, investigate faults, and contribute to continuous improvement, with travel to race events and tight collaboration with the mechanical design office and trackside teams.

The role requires a degree in electronics or electrical engineering and several years in advanced electronics

Qualifications

• University degree in electronics/electrical engineering.
• Multi-year experience in electronics engineering in a high-tech environment.

Responsibilities

• Design on- and off-car harnesses, units, sensors and assemblies.
• Design installations for FIA/FOM components with mechanical design office.
• Develop electronics systems to support instrumentation and measurements.
• Create installation manuals and trackside documentation.
• Investigate faults and generate fault reports with the team.
• Develop mitigations for faults in electronics and sensors.
• Improve installations, standards and processes.
• Support pre-season build, test and rig events for electronics integration.
• Engage in vehicle performance, development and reliability for electrical solutions.
