Wordsmith is seeking a Motion Designer to own video and motion across our product narratives. You’ll craft launch videos, feature announcements, social assets, and compelling product storytelling that simplifies complex workflows.

You’ll collaborate with Design, Growth, Product Marketing and Founders to bring ideas to life quickly, with high craft, and a scalable motion system for future outputs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of motion design experience, ideally in-house at a product or technology company.
• Strong reel of shipped work you can talk through clearly.
• Excellent taste and high standards for craft.
• Strong narrative instincts - you can simplify dense ideas visually.
• Ownership mindset - you're comfortable building a function, not just executing briefs.

Responsabilités

• Create launch videos, feature announcements, and product animations.
• Turn abstract workflows into clear visual stories that land quickly.
• Build a motion system of templates, transitions, components, and export standards.
• Produce social content, event openers, conference loops, and sales enablement assets.
• Partner with writers, designers, and producers from concept to final delivery.
• Help define how motion supports brand, growth, and product storytelling.
• Use AI tools to improve quality, speed, and creative range.
