Wordsmith seeks a Motion Designer to own video and motion across our platform. You’ll craft launch videos, feature announcements, and social assets that distill complex workflows into clear narratives. Work closely with Design, Growth, Product Marketing, and Founders to deliver high-quality output rapidly.

You’ll lead a hands-on role with ownership from day one, shaping how motion supports brand and product storytelling while leveraging AI tools to elevate quality and speed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of motion design experience, ideally in-house at a product or technology company.
• Strong reel of shipped work you can talk through clearly.
• Excellent taste and high standards for craft.
• Strong narrative instincts — you can simplify dense ideas visually.
• Ownership mindset — you’re comfortable building a function, not just executing briefs.

Responsabilités

• Create launch videos, feature announcements, and product animations.
• Turn abstract workflows into clear visual stories that land quickly.
• Build a motion system of templates, transitions, components, and export standards.
• Produce social content, event openers, conference loops, and sales enablement assets.
• Partner with writers, designers, and producers from concept to final delivery.
• Help define how motion supports brand, growth, and product storytelling.
• Use AI tools to improve quality, speed, and creative range.
