Job summary

HSBC in the UK is seeking a Lead Product Owner - Mortgage Pricing to shape pricing strategy across the mortgage portfolio. This hybrid role offers base location options including Birmingham, Leeds, Sheffield or Chester and requires deep mortgage pricing and analytics expertise.

You will own pricing models, influence business decisions, collaborate with Product, Finance, and Technology teams, and ensure compliance with regulatory expectations while driving growth.

Qualifications

Extensive UK mortgage pricing and product management experience.
Deep knowledge of mortgage profitability drivers and pricing governance.
Strong analytical and modelling capabilities with SQL, SAS, and modern data tools.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication under pressure.
Familiarity with regulatory expectations such as Consumer Duty.

Responsibilities

Build and enhance mortgage pricing models and forecasting.
Translate funding and risk considerations into pricing recommendations.
Monitor market trends and pricing trade-offs for senior stakeholders.
Drive governance and post-implementation reviews with Product and Finance.
Collaborate with Financial Modelling to align assumptions across pricing models.
