Senior Mortgage Specialist

Our Client is a globally recognised, successful bank providing world-class services to various institutions and individuals. Offering a comprehensive range of retail and corporate financial services/products, this thriving business has over 10 million active customers across more than 700 locations. We are now seeking an experienced Senior Mortgage Specialist.

This role is hybrid, with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and grow new mortgage business relationships for UK residents, including Buy to Let Mortgages and UK Commercial business, aligned with the UK Mortgage Strategy for Private Banking.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures for effective customer engagement within the Bank’s Enterprise Wide Risk Framework.
• Build a client base through personal networks, mortgage introducers, agents, and referrals.
• Offer the Bank’s mortgage products to target clients (HNWIs/HNIs), developing new relationships and cross-selling other products.
• Manage and grow the mortgage portfolio, increasing the mortgage book and revenue.
• Collaborate with the Head of Business to develop a UK Residents Mortgage desk and strategy.
• Coordinate with the Business Head for integrated business development and mortgage solutions for HNWIs.
• Oversee policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance related to UK Residents BTL and other business strategies.
• Assess clients’ mortgage requests and prepare credit applications for approval.
• Conduct affordability assessments for mortgage and lending services.
