Job summary

Mars is seeking a Senior Modem Verification Engineer in Oxford with hybrid working patterns, including 1 day onsite. The role leads the verification approach for next-generation wireless modem and communication products, delivering automated tests, regression suites and evidence for rapid development, integration and field evaluation.

You will work across modem software, FPGA, protocol-stack, embedded and platform teams, building repeatable test infrastructure, analyzing results and guiding

Qualifications

• Strong experience in verification, testing or systems engineering for complex real-time wireless products.
• Ability to design automated verification and regression frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of digital communications or signal processing to interpret modem data.
• Experience with cross-disciplinary teams in UK defence contexts and security vetting where required.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the verification approach for modem and communications products.
• Build repeatable test infrastructure and automate execution.
• Analyse results, reproduce failures and drive root-cause investigations.
• Collaborate with software, FPGA, embedded and platform teams to validate systems.
