Job summary

Metica, an AI-native growth partner for mobile games, seeks a senior mobile engineer to build and evolve the SDK that ships inside our customers' games. The role is SDK work, not app work, with ownership from API design to live support. Based in-office (hybrid model) in London or Ljubljana, Slovenia.

You will own the public API surface across Android (Kotlin) and iOS (Swift), keep the SDK lightweight and resilient, and manage releases and distribution (Maven Central, SwiftPM, CocoaPods).

Qualifications

• Must have senior experience shipping production mobile code at scale (Android or iOS).
• Experience building an SDK or library consumed by other developers.
• Comfort debugging in unfamiliar code paths using crash reports/ANRs.
• Networking & local storage resilience in flaky mobile environments.
• Test-first development mindset with failing tests prior to production.
• Proficiency with Unity package integration is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve the mobile SDK for customers' games.
• Own public API surface ensuring minimal, stable changes across versions.
• Keep the SDK lightweight with graceful degradation when backend is unavailable.
• Own releases, versioning and distribution across Maven Central, SwiftPM, CocoaPods.
• Support customer integrations and investigate live production issues.
• Collaborate with backend and data teams to define client-server contract.
