Job summary

AlphaSense is expanding its Mobile Engineering team to move beyond search with SuperAnalyst, delivering AI-powered workflows and native apps. Based in Mobile Engineering, you will shape backend systems across engineering organizations, deciding cross-team priorities and proving solutions in production.

You will collaborate with senior leaders to align architecture with customer value while building durable foundations that other teams can reuse.

Qualifications

• Deep production backend and distributed-systems expertise.
• Experience designing client-facing REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Strong authentication and session management knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Shape the systems behind product experiences: set technical direction for client-facing APIs and backend architecture.
• Lead across engineering organizations: collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders to align architecture and investments.
• Turn architecture into production systems: deliver services spanning team boundaries and prove them in production.
• Shape shared identity and access: evolve authentication and sessions across Web and Mobile.
• Leave engineers and teams stronger: coach and propagate reusable patterns.
