Job summary

Pertemps Bond is seeking a Mobile Plant Operator to support day-to-day operations on a busy site in North Lanarkshire. The role requires an experienced operator who can safely operate heavy plant machinery, follow strict health and safety procedures, and help run site activities efficiently.

The successful candidate will perform routine pre-start checks, maintain equipment, and work with the Supervisor to ensure safety, compliance, and high standards across waste management and site operations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating mobile plant machinery is essential.
• Ability to follow site safety procedures and regulations.
• Comfortable completing required paperwork and checks.
• Able to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate mobile plant machinery safely and efficiently to meet operational requirements.
• Complete daily pre-start checks and report defects.
• Maintain plant and equipment and assist with contractor maintenance when required.
• Follow site traffic management plans and safety rules.
