Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Senior Game Designer in the United Kingdom for a fully remote role with a partner company. You will shape core gameplay, progression systems, and live-ops strategies across mobile titles, balancing economies and player engagement.

You will collaborate with Producers, Developers, UI/UX designers, and analysts, using AI-enabled workflows to research, prototype, and document design decisions while driving long-term product growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Game Designer on mobile projects.
• Experience on large-scale projects and managing complex design systems.
• Portfolio showcasing games you contributed to.
• Strong understanding of core and meta loops, progression systems, and player retention.
• Comfort with AI tools to support research, generate ideas, create prototypes, and produce design documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and evolve core gameplay and meta systems to create engaging player experiences.
• Define and optimize progression, in-game economies, rewards, balance, and difficulty.
• Build connections between game systems to support cohesive gameplay.
• Create and maintain Game Design Documents (GDDs) and feature specifications.
• Lead features from concept through launch and performance analysis.
• Develop hypotheses and participate in A/B testing to validate ideas.
• Use analytics to evaluate performance and guide decisions.
• Collaborate with Producers, Developers, UI/UX Designers, Analysts, and Artists.
• Review implemented features to ensure alignment with design intent.
• Leverage AI tools for research, prototyping, and documentation as part of AI-native workflows.
