Qualifications

• Experienced in native mobile development for iOS and Android.
• Strong knowledge of architecture patterns, modularisation, dependency injection, and asynchronous programming.
• Proven experience delivering complex mobile features and migrations with performance and scalability challenges.
• Deep understanding of mobile security and CI/CD pipelines.
• Commitment to clean, maintainable, and well-tested code and automated testing frameworks.
• Experience mentoring engineers and contributing to engineering excellence.
• Comfort using AI-assisted development tools and agent orchestration in delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of complex mobile features, technical migrations, and platform improvements across iOS, Android, or both.
• Drive high-quality engineering practices, including architecture, performance, security, accessibility, and maintainable code standards.
• Lead the effective use of AI agents and orchestration workflows for feature delivery, testing, and problem-solving, applying sound judgement on when and how to use AI tools while sharing best practices across the team.
• Build and enhance automated testing, CI/CD, and release processes to ensure reliable and high-performing mobile applications.
• Mentor and support engineers within the squad, providing technical guidance and acting as a key reviewer for designs and specifications.
• Collaborate with engineers across teams to shape mobile standards, share best practices, and influence technical direction.
• Identify opportunities to improve team effectiveness, processes, and platform capabilities, driving solutions from idea to implementation.
