Job summary

Viridien is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to own the end-to-end ML lifecycle from data ingestion to deployment. You will develop, tune, and evaluate LLMs and agentic workflows across real-world digital and Earth data applications.

The role emphasizes data infrastructure, model orchestration, and collaboration with production and software teams to bring AI solutions into products. Hybrid work is offered and a strong ML leadership mindset is valued.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Ph.D in a technical field.
• Strong programming skills in Python and at least one other language.
• Advanced understanding of LLM/VLM architectures and fine-tuning.
• Experience building data pipelines and large-scale model workflows.
• Proven DL framework experience (TensorFlow/PyTorch) and deployment know-how.
• Experience with enterprise ML projects and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy domain-specific LLM/NLP models.
• Build evaluation and benchmarking pipelines for models.
• Design multi-model agentic workflows and tool usage for production.
• Collaborate on data pipelines for ingestion, labeling and versioning.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers.
