The Opportunity

I am working with a truly innovative and dynamic major IT consultancy that boasts an impressive portfolio of clients across diverse markets.

As part of their expansion plans they are looking for a dynamic Senior Lead Purview Consultant to join the team and support and advise their clients on implementation and enablement of Microsoft Purview and associated M365 and Azure Technologies including end-to-end data governance, compliance, and risk management solutions.

The Role

You’ll be working across a variety of clients in a range of industries, whilst also collaborating closely with internal teams across the company.

Key responsibility will be leading the delivery of Microsoft Purview solutions - helping clients navigate complex data governance, compliance, and risk management requirements.

You will provide strategic and technical oversight across projects, acting as both a trusted advisor and hands-on lead. You’ll support the development of team capability and overall service offerings within Microsoft Purview and audit and optimise existing deployments to designing and implementing scalable compliance architectures

Daily management activities, or supporting daily management activities, for a team of Senior Consultants, Consultants and Junior Consultants.

Evaluate and recommend and implement Microsoft Purview technologies to support data classification, protection, retention, and compliance across Microsoft 365 and Azure.

Design and deploying Purview features such as eDiscovery, Information Protection, Data Loss Prevention, Communication Compliance and Information Barriers.

Advise on and implementing best practices for Insider Risk Management and regulatory compliance using Purview's advanced tools.

Support integration of Purview with Microsoft Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams and OneDrive.

Assess and reviewing customer cloud security posture across multiple solutions and technologies.

Liaise with customers, stakeholders, and team members to ensure alignment of security strategies with business goals.

The Person:

Hands-on experience delivering Microsoft Purview solutions across Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.

A thorough understanding of Purview features, including:

Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Information Protection (Sensitivity Labels, encryption, etc.) Insider Risk Management eDiscovery & Communication Compliance Data Lifecycle Management & Records Management Information Barriers

Ability to clearly present findings, recommendations, and technical designs to clients and internal stakeholders.

A passion for problem-solving, collaborative team working, and an excitement for creating innovative solutions.

A broad knowledge Microsoft Security products such as Microsoft Entra (Identity, Identity Protection, Identity Governance, Internet Access, Private Access) Microsoft 365 Defender (Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Office 365, Defender for Identity, Defender for Cloud Apps) o Microsoft Defender for Cloud o Microsoft Sentinel

Due to the sensitivity of some projects you will either have SC Clearance or be eligible to undertake SC clearance
