The Opportunity

I am working with a truly innovative and dynamic major IT consultancy that boasts an impressive portfolio of clients across diverse markets.

As part of their expansion plans, they are looking for a Senior Microsoft Purview Consultant to join their team. The role involves supporting and advising clients on the implementation and enablement of Microsoft Purview, along with associated M365 and Azure Technologies, including end-to-end data governance, compliance, and risk management solutions.

The Role

1. Work on various Microsoft Purview capabilities such as Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Information Protection (IP), Insider Risk Management (IRM), and Data Lifecycle Management to deploy and optimize Purview solutions for data discovery, classification, and compliance.
2. Design and deploy Microsoft Purview solutions across Microsoft 365 and Azure platforms to meet data governance and compliance objectives.
3. Assess customer environments and requirements to deliver tailored configurations, policies, and controls.
4. Support and design deployments of Purview features like eDiscovery, Information Protection, Data Loss Prevention, Communication Compliance, and Information Barriers.
5. Advise on and implement best practices for Insider Risk Management and regulatory compliance using Purview's tools.
6. Collaborate with C-level stakeholders and compliance teams to align solutions with business policies and regulations.
7. Integrate Microsoft Purview with Microsoft 365 services and Azure infrastructure.
8. Present findings and recommendations to technical teams and decision makers.
9. Provide ongoing support and advice to optimize clients' compliance posture.

The Person

1. Hands-on experience delivering Microsoft Purview solutions in Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.
2. Thorough understanding of Purview features, including Information Protection, eDiscovery, Communication Compliance, Data Lifecycle Management, and Records Management.
3. Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 services and Azure integrations.
4. Experience in designing or auditing enterprise data governance and compliance controls.
5. Excellent documentation skills, including design, deployment guides, and client summaries.
6. Ability to communicate findings and designs clearly to clients and stakeholders.
7. Passion for problem-solving and creating innovative solutions.
8. Eligible for or holding SC clearance due to project sensitivity.
