Qualifications

Job description

Role Introduction

We are seeking a highly skilled engineer with extensive experience in implementing, maintaining, and supporting the Microsoft 365 Platform. The engineer will also be responsible for troubleshooting and providing technical support for the Power Platform suite across multiple Managed Service customers.

Collaborating with our Power Platform consultants and as part of a broader team specializing in Application and Microsoft 365 services, you will contribute to the future development and roadmap of this technology area and assist in supporting new services.

The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to staying updated with the latest Microsoft features and updates across Power Platform & 365. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about technology and eager to contribute to a forward-thinking organization.

Effective communication and collaboration are essential, as you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders and be engaged in ongoing collaboration with clients.

This role can be home-based or based in one of our UK offices.

What You Will Do
  • Contribute to the implementation, support, and transition of new capabilities within the Microsoft 365 Stack.
  • Develop, maintain, and administer Power Platform solutions and related systems, troubleshooting and resolving issues.
  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert on support and operational ownership of 365 & Power Platform applications, including Exchange Online & Teams.
  • Maintain and manage the 365 platform and related tools.
  • Ensure the health and support of the 365/Power Platform services, performing scheduled tasks.
  • Partner with other support teams to address skills gaps, sharing knowledge and best practices.
  • Work with the service transition team to ensure new solutions are correctly configured and supported.
  • Support asset and security operations related to Microsoft 365, including security analysis and log management.
  • Assist in engineering deliverables and activities aligned with the platform roadmap.
  • Drive automation and innovation in related activities.
  • Support wider business initiatives as required.
What You Will Have
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting complex information clearly to diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, Teams, and OneDrive.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform, especially Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power Virtual Agents.
  • Awareness of LogicApps and integration between 365 and Power Platform.
  • A continuous learning mindset to stay abreast of new technologies.
  • Willingness to mentor and support team members.
  • Ability to multitask, log activities accurately, and report progress.
  • Experience operating within a multi-supplier/SIAM support model.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to adapt communication styles and develop rapport.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain UK Government Security Check (SC).
