Job summary

Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a proactive MHST Senior Practitioner to support delivery of evidence-based interventions for children and young people within schools in Greenwich and surrounding areas.

The role emphasizes joint work with education colleagues, supervision of MHST staff, and potential to complete the EMHP supervision course through Kings College London from Jan 2027. Applicants with prior MHST experience are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years post-registration experience in a mental health setting.
• Experience in CAMHS is desirable.
• Willing to complete the EMHP supervision course.
• Experience delivering evidence-based 1:1 and group interventions in schools.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based 1:1 and group interventions for children and young people.
• Provide supervision to Education Mental Health Practitioners.
• Manage a defined caseload of children and young people with mild to moderate mental health needs in schools.
• Collaborate with education colleagues to support the Whole School Approach to mental health in schools.
• Deliver and develop a quality MHST service in Oxleas.
