Job summary

Greater Manchester Mental Health is recruiting for a Mental Health Practitioner to support Bolton's Mental Health Support Team (MHST). You will deliver low-intensity CBT interventions and collaborate with education settings to promote pupil well-being.

You will work within a multi-disciplinary CAMHS environment, shaping and developing services across Bolton with a focus on child and adolescent mental health, safeguarding, and professional development for staff.

Qualifications

Experience of assessment and delivering low intensity cognitive behavioural therapy interventions.
Experience of multi-disciplinary working within a CAMHS setting.
Experience with safeguarding procedures for children and adults.
Evidence of continuing professional development in CAMHS.

Responsibilities

Listen to the needs of the child, young person and family to provide meaningful evidenced based interventions.
Provide support, advice and consultation to families/carers and other professionals.
Work with education professionals to promote a whole school/college approach to wellbeing.
Develop and deliver time-limited interventions to young people in education settings.
Evidence the outcomes of the MHST service.
