Job summary

East of England Community Health and Care NHS Trust in Norwich is seeking a Senior Clinician (Band 7) to deliver evidence-based mental health support in schools as part of the Norwich team. You will supervise EMHPs, provide CBT-based interventions, and work within a cross-disciplinary service to support children and families.

The role is part-time (22.5 hours per week) with flexible working, permanent contract, and a pro-rata salary in the band 7 range.

Qualifications

• Relevant professional qualification or equivalent (e.g. Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, accredited CBT Therapist, qualification in systemic family therapy, qualification in child and adolescent psychotherapy, RMN/OT/SW)
• Postgraduate supervision training (e.g. CYP IAPT)
• Postgraduate clinical supervision training/qualification recommended

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise EMHPs and deliver CBT-based interventions to children and adolescents.
• Provide assessment of health, development and biopsychosocial needs in educational settings and risk assessments.
• Oversee formulation of treatment plans and coordinate care with schools, parents and professionals.
• Deliver psychoeducation workshops and training to teachers, parents and young people.
• Contribute to audits, governance and service development within the MHST.
