Job summary

Okta is seeking a Senior Product Manager for the MFA team to secure logins for thousands of customers and millions of people worldwide. You will partner with engineering, design, and product marketing to shape the roadmap, deliver high-value authentication solutions, and demonstrate measurable outcomes.

You will lead cross-functional efforts to understand customer use-cases, simplify end-user authentication, and drive product momentum across multiple verticals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product management for technical enterprise products.
• Track record delivering secure authentication-related solutions.
• Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams in engineering, design, and marketing.
• Ability to understand customer problems and translate to product outcomes.
• Excellent communication with stakeholders.
• Technical aptitude to engage with engineering teams and customer developers.
• Leadership and presence to influence without authority.
• Hands-on experience with authentication standards (WebAuthn, FIDO2/Passkeys).
• Experience analyzing product data with SQL and analytics tools.
• Familiarity with agile/scrum workflows.
• Travel willingness within US/Canada is noted.

Responsibilities

• Work with engineering and design teams to build actionable requirements.
• Define and socialize a roadmap for MFA product area.
• Develop business cases to support product delivery.
• Be the go-to SME for the product area.
• Develop and test hypotheses using lean, iterative approaches.
• Prototype and validate early with lightweight demos and concepts.
• Define and track KPIs and success metrics.
• Collaborate with Product Marketing and field teams to launch features.
• Create framing documents, story maps, and opportunity canvases.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate research, prototyping, and demos.
