Job summary

Nicholas Associates is seeking a Senior Metrology Engineer to act as the lead expert for metrology across the Group. You will drive standardisation of inspection methods and stay current with the latest measuring technologies.

The role involves directing metrology strategy across multiple sites, improving efficiency, and some travel to understand onsite practices. Hybrid work and UK-based travel are expected.

Qualifications

• Must be an experienced CMM Programmer.
• Strong metrology knowledge and interest in modern techniques.
• Experience with automated inspection systems and laser scanners is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead metrology strategy across the group and standardise methods.
• Drive improvements to reduce inspection times and align best practices.
• Travel to sites to understand inspection processes and implement changes.
