Job summary

Adecco are recruiting for a Workshop Supervisor/Manual Machinist/Technician (Metals) in Huntingdon. The role is hands-on, leading a small team to produce bespoke metal products to exact specifications, using bandsaws, lathes, mills and guillotines. You will support colleagues, ensure quality and safety, and drive continuous improvement.

The position offers an attractive salary (£36,050 p.a.) with excellent benefits, a Monday–Friday day shift, and 37.5 hours per week in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• This role requires experience in a workshop, manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Confident use of conventional machine shop equipment and drawings.
• Ability to produce to exact specifications with quality checks.

Responsibilities

• Operate workshop machinery safely and efficiently.
• Manufacture products to customer specifications using a variety of machines.
• Follow engineering drawings and production sheets.
• Inspect finished products and maintain records.
• Support continuous improvement and mentor team members.
• Maintain a safe, organized work environment.
