Job summary

The Adecco Group is recruiting for a Senior Operations Workshop Team Member in Huntingdon. This senior, hands-on role focuses on producing bespoke metal products using a range of workshop machinery, following drawings and ensuring quality.

You will support and develop colleagues in a small team, uphold safety and continuous improvement, and enjoy a day shift from Monday to Friday at 37.5 hours per week, with a competitive annual salary of £36,050 and excellent benefits.

Responsibilities

We are recruiting for a Senior Operations Workshop Team Member, to join a well-established company in Huntingdon. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a small, supportive team in a friendly and professional environment where quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement are genuinely valued.

This is a senior, hands-on position where you will use your workshop and machining expertise to manufacture bespoke Metal products, support colleagues across the team, and help ensure customers receive high-quality products to exact specifications.

About You

We would love to hear from candidates who have experience within a workshop, manufacturing or engineering environment and are confident using a range of conventional machine shop equipment.

Ideally, you will have experience with:

• Bandsaws
• Lathes
• Vertical milling machines
• Inspection and quality checks
• Measuring equipment and technical specifications

The Role

As a Senior Operations Team Member, you will be responsible for producing customer orders using a variety of workshop machinery while maintaining exceptional quality and safety standards.

You will also play an important role in supporting and developing colleagues, sharing your knowledge and helping to drive continuous improvements across the department.
