Job summary

Skopes is recruiting a Merchandiser to join our Head Office team in Leeds. The role focuses on merchandise planning, range construction, and delivering trading activities, working with stakeholders to support growth and KPIs.

You will lead and develop the Merchandising team, oversee stock planning, season range planning, and align with buying and retail teams. This office-based role requires strong numeracy, Excel skills, and experience in in-season trading.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of merchandising experience.
• Strong numerical skills with Excel proficiency.
• Experience in in-season trading and data analysis.
• Verified track record in in-season trading.
• Expertise in planning and ranging including WSSI management & linecards.
• Ability to react to changes in demand and logistics.
• Experience managing a merchandising team of one or more.

Responsibilities

• Execute strategic merchandising planning and in-season trading to achieve sales and profitability goals.
• Identify opportunities and risks to trade; report highlights and capitalize on market demands.
• Weekly stock review across retail and warehouse; manage allocations and IBT planning.
• Oversee store delivery processes with stakeholders; resolve queries.
• Forecast KPIs aligned with trading output and promotions calendar.
• Manage markdown cycles to maximise sales, profit and sell-through.
• Lead seasonal range planning and coordinate with buying/retail teams.
