Job summary

Skopes is seeking a Merchandiser to join our Head Office team in Leeds. The role focuses on merchandising planning, range construction, and delivering trading activities to support growth across channels.

You will lead and develop the Merchandising team while collaborating with stakeholders to execute the business strategy and KPIs. The ideal candidate has 3-4 years in merchandising, strong Excel skills, and a proven track record in in-season trading and WSSI/linecards management.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of experience in merchandising.
• Highly numerate with outstanding proficiency in Excel.
• Demonstrated expertise in analytical techniques and data analysis.
• Verified track record in in-season trading.
• Expertise in planning and ranging, including WSSI management & linecards.
• Ability to react to changes in demand and logistics.
• Experience with managing a merchandising team of one or more.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic merchandising plans and ranges.
• Lead and develop the Merchandising team and collaborate with buying and retail teams.
• Forecast KPIs and manage open-to-buy and seasonal planning.
• Oversee stock, allocations, replenishment and IBT planning to meet targets.
• Manage markdowns to maximise sales and profitability.
• Coordinate with stores, hubs and wholesale channels to optimise delivery and performance.
