Senior Merchandiser
Location: Leicester

Appointment Type: Permanent.
Salary: A£32k - A£35k (depending of experience)

Our client - a rapidly growing manufacturing and distribution business based in Leicester - is seeking an experienced Senior Merchandiser who thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating exceptional leadership, problem-solving skills, and meticulous attention to detail.

Primary Responsibilities:

. Develop and execute merchandising strategies to drive sales and profitability
. Create and manage seasonal plans, buying and assortment plans, and product lifecycle management
. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product design, marketing, and operations to ensure successful execution of plans
. Manage and analyse inventory levels to ensure proper stock levels
. Monitor market trends and competition to identify new opportunities and adjust plans accordingly
. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members

Qualifications and Skills:

. A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a similar senior merchandising role within the manufacturing, retail or fashion industry.
. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively under pressure.
. Excellent communication skills and a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
. Advanced proficiency in IT and Excel, with the ability to adapt to new systems and processes quickly.
. Strong leadership qualities, with the ability to motivate and drive teams to meet objectives.
