Job summary

Damicor Limited is seeking a Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor to join our London or Northwich teams. The role is hybrid, with home-working on Mondays and Fridays, and offers a salary in the £80,000–£85,000 range per annum.

You will manage commercial performance on a global mini data centre programme, lead cost control, budgeting and reporting, and oversee procurement, subcontractor appointments and contract documentation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within the MEP or building services sector.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical packages, procurement and commercial management.
• Excellent cost control, forecasting and subcontractor management skills.
• Proactive approach with the ability to identify issues and drive solutions.

Responsibilities

• Manage the commercial delivery of MEP packages across a global mini data centre programme.
• Take ownership of cost control, budgeting, forecasting and commercial reporting.
• Manage procurement, subcontractor appointments, valuations and variations.
• Monitor project costs, identify commercial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Prepare and manage applications for payment, final accounts and contractual documentation.
• Work closely with project managers, clients, subcontractors and delivery teams.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve commercial performance and protect margins.
• Ensure commercial processes are followed and projects are delivered to budget and contract requirements.

Are you a commercially driven Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor looking for your next challenge?

We're seeking an experienced Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor to join a team delivering a global programme of mini data centre projects. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in managing the commercial performance of technically challenging projects within a growing, fast-paced environment.

We're looking for someone who combines strong MEP commercial expertise with a proactive mindset, excellent communication skills and the confidence to take ownership of their work.

This role would suit a commercially astute professional who enjoys being involved in the wider project, building relationships and driving packages forward rather than simply managing the numbers.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the commercial delivery of MEP packages across a global mini data centre programme.

About You

We're looking for a Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor who brings both commercial expertise and the right personality to the role.

You will ideally have:

• Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within the MEP or building services sector.
• A strong understanding of mechanical and electrical packages, procurement and commercial management.
• Excellent cost control, forecasting and subcontractor management skills.
• A proactive approach, with the initiative to identify issues and drive solutions independently.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• The confidence to operate in a client-facing and project-facing environment.
• A collaborative attitude and the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.

Data centre experience would be advantageous, particularly given the nature of the programme.
