Rise Technical Recruitment is seeking a Senior Project Engineer - MEP in Rickmansworth/West London. The role offers hybrid working with three days on site or in the office and two from home.

The package includes up to £99,830 DOE, a 12% pension and 33 days holiday, with long-term progression in a major UK rail infrastructure programme. Qualifications

• Significant MEP engineering experience across mechanical, electrical and public health systems.
• Experience as Engineering Manager, Senior Project Engineer, Design Manager or similar.
• Previous rail environment experience.
• Strong design coordination and technical assurance experience.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering interfaces.
• Experience taking designs from review to construction.
• Good understanding of installation, testing and commissioning.
• Confident challenging contractors, designers and technical specialists.
• NEC experience or knowledge would be beneficial.
• Rail, tunnelling or station experience would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering leadership across a major multidisciplinary MEP package.
• Coordinate mechanical, electrical and public health designs.
• Lead technical assurance and design reviews.
• Manage interfaces between MEP works and wider railway systems.
• Provide technical guidance to contractors, designers and delivery teams.
• Review design changes and resolve engineering risks; support design acceptance and approval processes.
• Provide engineering input during installation, testing and commissioning.
• Support NEC and technical change processes where required.
• Permanent position with long-term progression across a major infrastructure programme.
