Job summary

Bimplus is recruiting for a Senior MEP Engineer to join a major UK infrastructure programme in a client-side role. You will oversee complex MEP installation, testing and commissioning across five tunnel shafts, with strong site presence and engineering assurance.

The role offers hybrid working (three days on site, two from home or an offsite office) and a clear progression path, with a salary up to £71,000 DOE plus a 12% pension and 33 days holiday.

Qualifications

• Strong MEP experience across mechanical, electrical, public health or building services.
• Experience overseeing complex MEP installation, testing and commissioning on live construction sites.
• Experience in rail, tunnelling or major infrastructure projects.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and technical requirements.
• NEC Supervisor experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide client-side technical assurance across major MEP works.
• Oversee MEP installation across five tunnel shafts.
• Review drawings, specifications and engineering evidence against standards.
• Identify technical issues, defects and non-compliance.
• Support inspections, testing and commissioning activities.
• Work with contractors and engineering teams to resolve site issues.
• Support NEC Supervisor and construction assurance responsibilities.
• Progression opportunities across a major infrastructure programme.
