Job summary

Kier Group is seeking an experienced MEP Senior Planner to join our Mechanical and Electrical team in Leeds. You will lead MEP planning on major regional projects, mentor junior planners, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver strategic outcomes.

The role requires advanced use of Elecosoft Asta PowerProject, on-site MEP planning experience, and strong familiarity with NEC and JCT contract forms. Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Advanced user of Asta PowerProject required.
• On-site MEP planning experience preferred.
• Experience administering NEC/JCT contract requirements.
• Strong communication and presentation skills essential.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Bluebeam Revu.

Responsibilities

• Leading MEP planning on major projects and mentoring assistant and intermediate planners.
• Developing and managing detailed MEP programmes across project stages using Asta PowerProject.
• Managing programme updates, forensic analysis, and leading EOT evaluations and delay assessments.
• Collaborating with commercial teams to align planning outputs with NEC and JCT contracts.
• Presenting programme strategies to leadership, project teams, and clients.
