Job summary

MEPJOBS UK in Southampton is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer (MEP / Building Services) to design and deliver mechanical building services for NHS trusts, commercial and residential projects across the south of England. Qualifications

• Competent Building Services Design Engineer.
• Qualification to HNC/Degree level in Building Services Design/Mechanical.
• Experience designing mechanical building services.
• Experience with calculations, drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of installation processes is beneficial.
• Holder of a full UK driving license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and grow existing client relationships.
• Work with clients to establish the brief and follow the project through to completion.
• Input on fee preparations.
• Provide complete designs with attention to detail.
• Manage medium/large projects commensurate with experience.
• Oversee junior staff and mentor colleagues.
