Job summary

Winthrop Technologies Ltd in Blyth, UK, is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor (MEP/CSA) to lead commercial management on data centre projects. You will drive budgeting, procurement, and contract administration across the project lifecycle.

The role requires 8+ years in quantity surveying, strong cost control, negotiation, and analytical skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and senior management to maximise value and ensure financial objectives are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• 8+ years’ experience in quantity surveying, preferably in construction.
• Strong cost control, procurement, and contract administration experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage all commercial and contractual aspects across the project lifecycle.
• Prepare, review budgets, forecasts, and cost reports.
• Lead procurement, including subcontractor selection, tendering, and contracts.
• Manage subcontractor accounts, valuations, variations, and final accounts.
• Provide commercial advice and ensure compliance with contract terms.
