Cygnet Healthcare is seeking a confident, experienced Senior Mental Health Support Worker with a passion for delivering outstanding care to join Cygnet Hospital Oldbury. The role involves working 42 hours per week, including days, nights, and weekends. Cygnet Hospital Oldbury is a state-of-the-art PICU & Acute hospital for women in the West Midlands, featuring two wards: a 12-bed PICU and a 15-bed Acute ward. The service has a full multidisciplinary team (MDT) and supports adults with urgent mental health needs, including those requiring intensive care. Our focus is on reducing length of stay and ensuring safe, swift transfers to the most appropriate, least restrictive environments, with pathways for stepping down care within Cygnet services. Referrals come from various sources, including other acute and prison services.
