Job summary

Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust's RISE Early Help Service seeks a Senior Mental Health Practitioner (Senior EMHP / CWP) to join the Mental Health in Schools Team within CAMHS. The role is full-time and permanent.

You will base in the Mental Health in Schools Team, deliver comprehensive assessments and CBT interventions across school settings, and supervise EMHPs and trainees. Travel between schools is essential; a driving license and vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• Registered with BABCP or BPS and eligible to practise.
• Experience delivering CBT interventions in CAMHS or school-based settings.
• Ability to drive and have access to own vehicle for business use.
• Experience supervising EMHPs/trainees and contributing to clinical supervision.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and deliver CBT interventions in varied settings for children and young people.
• Provide regular consultation, joint work, training and advice to schools and other agencies.
• Manage a caseload of young people, supporting low intensity practitioners with CBT delivery.
• Provide clinical supervision to Education Mental Health Practitioners and trainees.
• Lead Whole School and College Approach activities and support schools in engagement and well-being initiatives.
• Travel between schools is essential; you will need a car/vehicle.
