Job summary

Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust is hiring a Senior Mental Health Practitioner to work across the Gorleston and surrounding GP practices within the GY&W Primary Care Network. The role is full time, band 6, based at Northgate Hospital but working from GP practices in Great Yarmouth, with an emphasis on direct patient care and autonomous clinical decision making.

You will join a collaborative team, receive induction and shadowing, and have access to ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Registered professional with relevant registration and NHS experience.
• Experience in mental health practice with caseload management.
• Autonomous practice with ability to make clinical judgements.

Responsibilities

• Work across Primary and Secondary Mental Health Services delivering direct patient care.
• Manage own workload and support colleagues with clinical guidance.
• Participate in training, induction and shadowing within the PCN.
