Job summary

Devon Partnership NHS Trust is seeking an experienced Senior Mental Health Practitioner (Band 6) for a 12-month fixed-term role in the West Devon Core Team. You will work within a multidisciplinary team providing recovery-focused adult mental health care with supervision and opportunities for professional development.

Applicants should have a professional mental health qualification with UK registration and substantial community-based experience.

Qualifications

• Professional mental health qualification with current UK registration.
• Experience in community mental health settings.
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience supervising junior staff.
• Excellent communication and risk assessment skills.

Responsibilities

• Triage and assess referrals and identify the appropriate care pathway.
• Deliver risk-based formulations and evidence-based interventions.
• Lead MDT meetings and provide supervision to colleagues.
• Maintain high-quality clinical records and documentation.
• Support service development and quality improvement.
