Job summary

Somerset NHS Foundation Trust in the Brighton area seeks a Senior Mental Health Practitioner to join the MHST. You will manage a small caseload of children and young people with low to moderate concerns and deliver early interventions in line with CAMHS.

Qualifications

• CAMHS framework knowledge
• Experience delivering brief or low-intensity interventions
• Ability to manage a small clinical caseload
• Collaborative work with schools and health partners

Responsibilities

• Hold a small clinical caseload of CYP with low to moderate mental health concerns
• Deliver early interventions up to 10 sessions per young person
• Act as a key link between education settings and MHST, offering consultation and resources
• Collaborate with schools, GPs, social care and public health to improve outcomes
