Job summary

Arbury Court in Warrington is seeking an experienced Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to deliver high-quality care for adult women in medium/low secure and PICU environments. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to compassionate, evidence-based practice and positive patient outcomes.

The role requires completion of your Preceptorship and a current NMC registration. You will mentor colleagues, contribute to care planning, and support service users and peers in a busy but supportive

Qualifications

• NMC registered RMN with current licence.
• Completed Preceptorship required.
• Experience in NHS or private sector in the UK.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.

What you will be doing:

As a qualified Mental Health Nurse (RMN), you will ensure adult women in medium, and low secure, and psychiatric intensive care PICU environments, who have Personality Disorder and Mental Health conditions receive high-quality care, while also supporting your colleagues and promoting positive teamwork.

The wards are busy, with plenty to keep you engaged and motivated, and a good amount of routine and variety. Your day-to-day will include:

• Providing high-quality, effective and compassionate nursing care to service users
• Being responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care
• Providing mentorship and support to team members
• Observing, recording and reporting all service user changes, and maintaining accurate records of care provided

Skills and knowledge you will have:

• A relevant nursing qualification

Arbury Court provides medium and low secure care and Psychiatric Intensive Care (PICU) for women aged 18 years and over with Personality Disorder (PD) and mental illness. Each service within the site has a unique focus, ensuring that the needs of all women can be met. Patients can move through services as their needs change, to focus on the next step in their recovery journey.

The service offers a personalised assessment and recovery-based treatment pathway for women with complex needs. Using the rehabilitation and recovery treatment approach, we ensure that care is focused on the person.
