Elysium Healthcare is seeking an experienced Mental Health Nurse (RMN) for a 12 month fixed term contract at Kingswood House, Thurcroft near Rotherham. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality, compassionate care to people with learning disabilities and autism.

Applicants must have completed their Preceptorship with evidence and hold NMC registration. The post offers robust wellbeing support, development opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.

What you will be doing:

As a qualified Mental Health Nurse (RMN), you will care for

people with a learning disability and those who have autism, while also supporting your colleagues and promoting positive teamwork.

There is plenty to keep you engaged and motivated, and a good amount of routine and variety. Your day-to-day will include:

Providing high-quality, effective and compassionate nursing care to service users

Being responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care

Providing mentorship and support to team members

Skills and knowledge you will have:

A relevant nursing qualification

Kingswood House is part of our learning disability and autism division and is a registered care service with nursing which embraces and balances the management of risk with comfort, homeliness, dignity, respect, and choice. The service is for individuals with a learning disability, people who have autism or those with sensory and communication impairments. We are specialists in working with complex needs and behaviours which challenge services.
