Job summary

Danny Sullivan & Sons Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our civil engineering team, delivering MEICA and water infrastructure projects across Hertfordshire and the region. The role is site-based, working with project teams to drive commercial delivery.

You will manage NEC contracts, procurement, subcontractor accounts and cost reporting, supporting project managers from procurement through to final account.

Qualifications

• Experience with NEC contracts.
• Strong cost forecasting and reporting skills.
• Proven track record in subcontractor procurement and accounts.
• Background in MEICA or water infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Commercial management of MEICA packages and projects.
• Managing subcontractor procurement, tendering and appointments.
• Preparing and managing subcontractor accounts.
• Cost forecasting, reporting and budget management.
• Applications for payment and valuations.
• Managing variations and change control.
• Identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities.
• Working under NEC contracts.
• Managing project costs through delivery to final account.
• Collaborating with Project Managers and Engineers.
