Job summary

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree (Masters level).
• GPhC registration.
• Postgraduate clinical diploma or equivalent.
• Independent Prescriber or intent to become one.
• Evidence of Continuous Professional Development (CPD).

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver the Medicines Information Service and ensure timely, high‑quality responses.
• Ensure service meets UKMi standards for enquiry answering, education, publications and risk management.
• Lead and supervise staff, including MI Pharmacists and MI Technicians, and manage recruitment and development.
• Maintain paperless MiDatabank system and update resources used for evidence gathering.
• Provide training in Medicines Information to pre‑registration technicians and rotating pharmacists.
